Mounting a video recording camera onto a motorcycle comes with its fair share of challenges, especially if the motorcycle is prone to a lot of vibrations - mainly from the engine and shocks from bad roads.
The vibration transfers itself onto the camera since its directly attached to the motorcycle.
The simplest way to work around this issue is to mount the camera onto the rider instead of the motorcycle. The body of the rider automatically damps the vibration that the bike is generating and effectively produces a smoother video capture.
I personally prefer the chest mounted camera view, to that of the helmet mounted view, as the angle is more natural and is something that the rider is accustomed to. Also, the chest is one of the more stable areas of the rider and less prone to vibration, as the vehicle moves about.
